AP students and parents,

We are so excited to begin our AP testing on Monday, May 4. We have been planning for a successful testing environment but as you know certain obstacles may arise, so we ask you be patient and flexible. We will do our best to problem solve so that everyone has a positive outcome.

*All students driving must park in their normal parking spaces at BHS. Student drop off and pick up for AP testing will be in front of BPAC ; Please do not block traffic!

**Students will enter on the west side of building at the gymnasium entrance (near soccer field).

*** Students must arrive 30 minutes prior to their AP exams- See 2026 AP Exam Dates for specific test dates and times.***

Pickup times

These are approximate times for regular AP exams as it will vary depending on each AP tests. Accommodations AP exams will be longer.

• Morning AP exams -11:30 pickup
• Afternoon AP exams - 3:30 pm pickup

Mandatory items for AP Testing

1. Username & Password for collegeboard account. No password = No AP testing

2. Full charged Chromeboook, please bring cords

3. Pencils, pen (blue or black only), calculator (see specific Calculators below) in a clear gallon Ziploc. Pencils pouches or any container that is not clear are not allowed.

Mandatory Bluebook Update

A critical Bluebook™ update was released on April 30, 2026. Bluebook will auto-update the next time it’s opened. This may slow down AP testing, so we are encouraging as many AP students as possible to do this before AP testing to prevent a traffic jam on the servers especially on testing day.

AP students please OPEN BLUEBOOK ASAP to prompt the update. To open Bluebook: turn the Chromebook on, do not log-in, on the bottom left corner, click the Apps button > Bluebook.

BHS AP Testing Tidbits

• All AP Testing will be at Brentwood High School only.
• Dress appropriately
• No hats or hoods in the testing room.
• Students cannot use their coat or hoodies as a pillow or blanket. Hoodies must be used correctly on the body or on the back of the chair.
• All personal belongings will be placed in the back of room.
• Students CANNOT have cellphones, smart watches, smart glasses or devices that link to the outside world. Any of these devices will be removed from the testing room.
• Collegeboard does not allow students to return to their belongings during break.
• Students will be allowed to have snacks during break, PTSO will provide limited snacks. For students who have approved dietary restriction please check in snacks.
• Students will be allowed to have water in a CLEAR container with NO writings of any kind…. please remove the labels. All containers will be inspected by proctors.
• Students must use bathroom one at a time if outside of timed break.
• Students will be excused from school for the day they are taking each of their AP exams.

AP Exams

• Each exam will be proctored and timed accordingly.
• All exams will start on time and students arriving late will not be allowed to test
• Students will be assigned a seating charts-Siblings cannot seat together.
• Students can not leave testing room before the end of the exam for any reasons.
• No items can be under their seat except keys
• Students must remain quiet until they are dismissed from the exam room.

Calculators

• Calculators are allowed only on Biology, Calculus (AB/BC), Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Physics 1&2, Physics C, Statistics, and Macroeconomics.
• Students may bring up to 2 permitted calculators to exam.

Finals season is almost here!  Please carefully read the documents linked below for specific daily exam times and other important information.  Attendance is very important on exam days.  If your student must miss an exam, contact the teacher and attendance office as soon as possible to arrange make-up procedures.

WCS Student Chromebooks

• Charge your Chromebook every night and bring it with you every day to school. Closing the lid does not shut down the Chromebook. Use the power button on the left side to power it off. Shut down your Chromebook each night.
• This Chromebook is the property of Williamson County Schools and is provided for academic purposes. You are responsible for taking care of it. All content on a WCS Chromebook may be monitored.
• Do not remove the protective cover or the screen protector. If a screen protector or protective case comes loose on a Chromebook, the library should be notified immediately. Any damage that occurs to the Chromebook when the library has not been notified of a missing case or screen protector may result in a damage charge.
• Use only a WCS issued charger to charge this device. Replacement chargers may be purchased for $20.
• Intentional damage or harsh usage resulting in damage will be a $40 charge. Intentional damage that results in total loss of the Chromebook may be treated as vandalism and result in charges for the total loss of the Chromebook.

Checkpoints driving courses have been posted. The class is offered each semester for students who are interested in obtaining a parking permit. Please see the BHS Resources page for more information!

Brentwood High School is proud to announce the following students as National Merit Semi-Finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. The 16,000 semi-finalists were selected from the more than 1.5 million entrants in the National Merit Program. Students entered the competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. The semi-finalists represent less than 1% of each state's high school seniors.

Musical Theatre Camp

Join us this summer for a splash of fun as we dive into the world of Finding Nemo!  Open to rising 2^nd through rising 6^th graders! Campers will explore acting skills, singing, and a final performance for family and friends! We hope to explore the Big Blue World with your this summer.
